Dbcopy was coded under IDS 7.2x, and works fine with 7.3x. If you are using
it with IDS.2000 (ie 9.2x) it will not support any new types or user defined
types or collections or inheritence etc without some modifications. If
you know the size and format of TYPE 43 columns (I don't even know what
that type is) you can modify the code to accept the new type. If it is a
new built-in type like BOOLEAN or SERIAL8 then the changes are trivial as
the standard type handling code will work you just need to add a case to
the switch statements where the column types are decoded. If it is a code
for some ORDBMS feature it will not be so simple.
