Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

IDS v7.24 UC6, HP-UX 10.20
I'm using onunload to load a database of about 1.75GBytes into a
newly-created server. It's incredidiby slow. The load took over six hours.
I'd say that this is slower than dbimport. I just cannot understand why it
should be so slow. According to onstat -D the server has done about 800,000
reads and writes each to the dbspace into which the database resides.
It really ought to be able to do these I/Os quicket than that. An ontape
restore chugs away at 4 million reads or writes per hour.
Is it just my looking back to the halcyon days when I worked on Solaris, but
I'm sure the onload on v7.13 on Solaris 2.5 was almost as quick as ontape?
