PB) terminates (maybe, = because of a General Protection Fault(GPF)) the server process = associated with it i.e the sqlturbo, sometimes doesnot terminate along = with the client process. Due of this , i get lock problems and sometimes = these processes exceeds the number of allowed users. So, whenever a = new application is run, the error number 529 is displayed. Is there any way in which these orphan processes can be killed or any = way in which they can be killed by a cron process so that no problems = are encountered. Thanking you, Yours faithfully, KP Rao(niranjan_rao@hotmail.com) ------=_NextPart_000_0006_01BD484B.50790F20 Content-Type: text/html; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD W3 HTML//EN"> <HTML> <HEAD> <META content=3Dtext/html;charset=3Diso-8859-1 = http-equiv=3DContent-Type> <META content=3D'"MSHTML 4.71.1712.3"' name=3DGENERATOR> </HEAD> <BODY bgColor=3D#ffffff> <DIV><FONT size=3D2>Hello friends,</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT size=3D2></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT size=3D2>I have a problem in Informix Online(Ver 5.0). = </FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT size=3D2></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT size=3D2>Whenever an application in the frond end (viz.
