serial in tag

Hello, I'm using Isell App.Server with informix. In a html page, I'm inserting data in a informix database using SimpleSQLFormHandler component. I have a problem because the id column of the table is a datatype serial and the page break when I write the tag with the column of datatype serial. Who I can write the tag with a datatype serial? This may help ... Try to make the value of your serial type field = "0" This will allow the serial field to increment its current value by "1" ( If not data exists in the table ... the value will start at 0 ... and the first entry will be 1 in the following example. You can test this functionality ... if you wish by creating a small database and table ... and insert into the table for insert into test values ( "0", "Name 01" ); Serial field will be "1"assuming no other data is in the table and will be the first record in the table .... insert into test values ( "0", "Name 02" ); Serial field will increment by"1" which the value would be "2" This type of functionality will allow you to simulate within your HTML a serial column ... when inserting values into the database .. informix will handle the value accordingly.
