oninit hangs on SOL26

Last week we had a user do a chown -R on our informix binaries directory.
Since then I have changed it back by doing a chown -R informix:informix on
the binaries (that is supposidly how the were created) Now, when I try to
restart our informix server using oninit... it just hangs and then
eventually kills itself... not leaving any messages.. any ideas? Thanks
Hi!
Maybe your guess on ownership was not exaxtly accurate.
Install informix in a completely separate directory and compare permissions
for
all files.

if you have the file informix.rc you can construct the proper perms for all
your files.
look for it in INFORMIXDIR
