Can anybody help me to check the Database size, size of a particular table? We are using Informix 7.13 running on HP-UNIX 10.01.
Hi is the version 7.13 or 7.31 ? In the sysmaster database, exists a table called syschunks (if I'm not wrong) ... There is the total pages of the chunk and the free pages... you should multiply it by the page size... For a specific table, take a look in the sysfragments table ... Its an version 7.13. Please let me know
select st.partnum, nrows, npused, npdata from sysmaster:sysptnheader sp,sysmaster:systabnames st
where st.dbsname = 'mydatabase' and st.tabname = 'mytable'
and st.partnum = sp.partnum;
If you get multiple rows, some will be detached indexes for the table and
others will be table/index fragments if the table/index is fragmented.
