Partition Blob Page Sharing???

Morn'n Folks, IDS 11.70.FC8 O/S Linux I want to know if different text columns from the same table will share the pages they use for the actual blob data. IE... If column1 is text and has a length of 1200 bytes, and column 2 has another text column with a length of 800 bytes, will these 2 blobs go on 1 or 2 pages? This is assuming 2k page size in the dspace and partition blobs. Thanx, Dan
For partition blobs (ie IN TABLE) yes. Partition blobs work like regular rows. If less than a page they share. If bigger than a page, the trailing pieces share a page. Art Art S.
