David Typically "could not position within table..." means that you are encountering a lock on the row set by another user. Check to see if you have page level locking on the table or if there is any way you can not have the locking situation. Hello, sql 100 No matching records found vs sql -243 Could not position within a table see isam code isam -111 no record found Why would I get a -243/-111 instead of a 100. I need to fix a code problem but first I would like to understand why I am getting the -243/-111 and not the 100 like I was expecting. Do I need to change something to receive the sql 100 instead of the -243/-111? Thanks David Trombly PS - please excuse if this is a dup message, I tried to post this question via another site and it didn't work after a couple hours and I got impatience *** Posted from RemarQ - http://www.remarq.com - Discussions Start Here (tm) ***
