RE: How to reset the serial field once the max is reached?

The next serial number is stored in the sysmaster database for IDS 7.2 and
IDS 7.3.
It can be viewed with the oncheck command or via SQL:
oncheck -pt <database>:<table>
or
SELECT serialv FROM sysptnhdr;
