table location

How do you find out which dbspace a table resides in? For example, I
have a database that resides in db0, but I have database tables x, y,
and z that are in db1, db2, and db3, but I don't know which is in
which. These tables are not fragmented so an entire table resides in a
dbspace. And please don't say check the system catalogs (sysfragments,
systables) because I've done that. I'm looking for actual syntax, be it
SQL or some oncheck parameter I'm not familiar with that will give me
this info. Please copy any replies to: tienp@wholefoods.com. Thanks.

If you're using IDS 7.x, try the sysmaster database:
database sysmaster; select dbs.name space_name, tab.dbsname db_name,
tab.tabname, tab.partnum
from sysdbspaces dbs, systabnames tab
where dbs.dbsnum = trunc(hex(tab.partnum)/1048576)
That should help!
