It depends. Generally, something needed lots of memory, probably a sort or
something.
It is generally better to have fewer segments, you might be able to remove
them using "onmode -F". If you have HPUX, you should have fewer than 4
segments in total, AIX has a limit of 10 before you run into performance
problems. I'm not aware of any limits in other Unices, and NT is like a
black hole to me. And I don't know it's memory architecture. :-)
