RAID5 does not verify parity when it writes to disk, so if corruption occurs, you'll never notice it. And then it starts to propogate. And then you're left with a bunch of useless disk devices that you can reformat and start again. Spend the money: Mirror disks and then stripe across them. ________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com
