Function NVL in Informix
Hello,
I developed stored procedure in Informix version 9.21.FC1X4, in that
procedure I used function NVL as:
let _dateVar = NVL(_dateVar, (select dateProv from status));
Variable _dateVar is declared as DATE and column dateProv as DATE too.
In version 9.30.FC3XE of Informix I get error:
SQL error -1207 : Converted value does not fit into the allotted space
Does anybody know this issue?? In previous version works fine but in newer
not.
we discovered with my colleague, that problem is approached only when column
in table is defined as not null. It seems as a bug.
