Transection within Another Transection

Hi, My application makes lots of function calls, which actually do the ESQL calls. The transection may start in one function, and another function may be called, before the transection is ended. If Iam writing a new function, and need to know if the transection has already started, how do i know that a transaction is already in progress. Is there a flag which says that transection is already started? Thanks Anand. Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Share what you know. Learn what you don't.
You could explicitly start another transaction and trap for error -535. If you don't get the error, then you have just started a transaction. If you error, then you are already in a transaction.
