Defining implicit records from a view?

Hello all: I was using INFORMIX-4GL 4.11.UC1, without any problem, records definition using the LIKE sintax based on a view. Now I'm migrating my application to 6.01 version and it caused a sintax error (-4320 : the symbol <view-name> is not the name of a table in the specified database) What's wrong?
