conflicting versions of linux
Posted in 2000
I just got a copy of IIF.2000 version 9.21.UC2-1, but it did not come with a copy of a client SDK for Linux (only windows). When I tried to install the client SDK from the web (version 2.40.UC1-1) I got the following RPM conflicts: file /opt/informix/bin/chkenv from install of csdk-2.40.UC1-1 conflicts with file from package IIF-9.21.UC2-1 file /opt/informix/bin/crtcmap from install of csdk-2.40.UC1-1 conflicts with file from package IIF-9.21.UC2-1 file /opt/informix/bin/finderr from install of csdk-2.40.UC1-1 conflicts with file from package IIF-9.21.UC2-1 file /opt/informix/bin/infxmsg from install of csdk-2.40.UC1-1 conflicts with file from package IIF-9.21.UC2-1 file /opt/informix/bin/msgfile from install of csdk-2.40.UC1-1 conflicts with file from package IIF-9.21.UC2-1 file /opt/informix/etc/brand from install of csdk-2.40.UC1-1 conflicts with file from package IIF-9.21.UC2-1 file /opt/informix/gls/cm3/registry from install of csdk-2.40.UC1-1 conflicts with file from package IIF-9.21.UC2-1 file /opt/informix/gls/lc11/zh_tw/e008.lco from install of csdk-2.40.UC1-1 conflicts with file from package IIF-9.21.UC2-1 file /opt/informix/msg/en_us/0333/errmsg.txt from install of csdk-2.40.UC1-1 conflicts with file from package IIF-9.21.UC2-1 file /opt/informix/msg/en_us/0333/isam.iem from install of csdk-2.40.UC1-1 conflicts with file from package IIF-9.21.UC2-1 file /opt/informix/msg/en_us/0333/miapi.iem from install of csdk-2.40.UC1-1 conflicts with file from package IIF-9.21.UC2-1 file /opt/informix/msg/en_us/0333/net.iem from install of csdk-2.40.UC1-1 conflicts with file from package IIF-9.21.UC2-1 file /opt/informix/msg/en_us/0333/netsrv.iem from install of csdk-2.40.UC1-1 conflicts with file from package IIF-9.21.UC2-1 file /opt/informix/msg/en_us/0333/sql.iem from install of csdk-2.40.UC1-1 conflicts with file from package IIF-9.21.UC2-1 file /opt/informix/msg/en_us/0333/xopen.iem from install of csdk-2.40.UC1-1 conflicts with file from package IIF-9.21.UC2-1 Since the last Solaris and Windows SDKs were uploaded to Intraware on August 8, 2000, I'm assuming that the web site is up to date. Doesthat mean that there are no Linux SDKs compatible with the current Linux server? Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks, Matt Denny
