Hi there, I'm having a lot of difficulties invoking the web datablade on win2k. I've set the server up ok, ddw schema and all, and I first tried to use the isapi driver, so I set up a virtual host and added a mapping in web.cnf, same thing happened when I tried to use the cgi webdriver. Error 500(permissionerror) - and the log file said: IN[00000924]webdriver initialization completed okay TS[000006e4]pid#1376,rqst#3 Fri Sep 01 14:11:06 2000 CB[000006e4]query{IX000,-951}Incorrect password or user %s is not known on the database server. The thing is, I've gone through the password process 3 times now...always use the informix account, he's admin also. I'm sure I always type the correct password. Is there anyone who has been successful in installing the web datablade with IIS or using CGI on Win2k? cheers, Gunnar
I have no difficulty to use web datablade on win2k. I think your problem occur due to password encrypt error, try to use web setup program to modify web.cnf instead of modify directly. best regards, Jinyao Lin Gunnar Arnarson <gunnar@visir.is> wrote in message news:39b01d98.0@news.isholf.is... > Hi there, > > I'm having a lot of difficulties invoking the web datablade on win2k.
