Hi all.. I am trying to test out the functionality of the High-performance loader to a named pipe. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to work. It looks like it dumps out the data but the ipload job hangs when trying to do the close. But there is nothing that shows up in the pipe. Has anyone used named pipes with ipload? I am using a 9.21.uc1 product. tnx.....
There are some demo programs in $INFORMIXDIR/demo/xmp directory i.e. rpipe.c or wpipe.c These are pipe reader or writer programs. Hope it will help. Thanks, Sanjeev K.
