I am having problems trying to run a D4GL application on my laptop runnning NT4. The laptop is acting as both client and server. When I run the compiled p-code program I get the following error: gethostbyname:gnote:.:6400:0 gethostbyname:gnote:.:6400:0 program stopped at utils.4gl line number 113 FORMS statement error number -1400 GUI: Can not connect to gui. When exceuting this command the application server is running but the WTK-Rlogin is not as I was told earlier that this was not essential. Any ideas what I am doing wrong? Regards Shaun Campbell

I hope you've found an answer long before this response. You don't make it clear whether you have run the D4GL Display Server. It appears in a separate portion of the WinNT Start/Programs menu from the rest of D4GL. -- Jonathan Leffler (jleffler@informix.com, jleffler@earthlink.net) Guardian of DBD::Informix v0.60 -- see http://www.perl.com/CPAN #include <disclaimer.h>
