Why is isql database select not working or slow?

Hi all, We don't use isql very much, so I hadn't noticed this problem until today. isql either basically hangs and times out or takes a looong time to get the database list for select database. With persistance, eventually I get a list and everything is normal. Informix Tech support suggested reinstalling csdk last, but that didn't work. It happens from time to time on my system, but clears up later. Fixed By Magic, I guess :-)
