Ignore Sujit. He's in IDS mode and NOT SE. :-) Although he IS correct about TFM. ;-) You need to create an sqlhosts file, $INFORMIXDIR/etc/sqlhosts by default. This should have an entry something like: mydbservername seipcpip myhost sqlexec Where mydbservername is any name you choose, and myhost is the name of your machine.
