Hi! We're using Informix UDS Version 9.14.UC7 on a Sun Cluster (2 E450) Solaris 2.6 with Sun Cluster SW. The Informix version is not officially supported by this Sun Cluster release. Does somebody know what I can do to get it to work nevertheless? (Informix works fine on one machine...) I tried simply to include the version number in the file where all supported versions of Informix are listed.... I've installed Informix as a service and the handover from one machine to another worked fine. But the database wasn't stopped nor started... Has somebody got some updated scripts or another hint what I can do? Thanx Mike :-)

This is unsupported and when it fails will probably result in data loss. Then I suppose you'll blame Informix. This kind of behaviour is what gives Informix a bad name. >Thanx > >Mike :-) > > -- David Williams
