input would be oracle table description, output would be informix ddl.
I'm half way thru writing it and think somebody has already done it?

Some sort of CASE tool that handles Entity-Relationship (ER) modelling
would be appropriate. The two that spring to mind are ErWin and
PowerDesignor DataArchitect (the latter from Sybase), but there are
others. These will take a Database creation script from one database,
reverse engineer it into an ER model, then you can select a different
database system, and create the appropriate sql file. You can even
connect to your servers using ODBC, and generate the model/create the
database without going via script files. I think you can get 30 day
demos of both of these.
