Permissions

To all... I have, as DBA, granted resource (DB level) permissions to particular users. Yet, they still get the 'no select permission' error when they try to access a table in the DB. dbschema -ss shows them at the resource level, yet this error persists. Any suggestions ?

What are the permissions on the particular tables for those users? For PUBLIC? If the individual users or the pseudo-user PUBLIC do not have SELECT permissions on the table then they will get the error you describe. You only granted them permission to connect to the database and create new tables and indexes. Art S.
