Actually, I don't think this will work. As I recall, any dbspace-level
restore requires that all logical logs be rolled forward. Assuming your
database has logging, this will roll forward the deletion of the rows
that you want to recover.
If you are really lucky -- i.e.
- your database is NOT logged, but
- you DO back up your logical logs, and
- all the rows you want were already in the database at the last archive
then you can restore just one dbspace, roll it forward, and recover your
lost data.
