Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.
Hi.
When i try to install IDS 7.31 TD 6 on Linux Red Hat 9.0, i have the
following message for each informix command i launch, like onstat or
dbaccess :
Incorrectly built binary which accesses errno, h_errno or _res directly.
Needs to be fixed
Even so, the IDS engine seems to work correctly and the commands give their
result, with this message
Thanks for your help
Redhat 9 specifically gives problems because of naming changes to certain
c library functions.
The same error appears when using esql (CSDK 2.81 UC2) -- I had to get the
latest patch (UC2X5) from IBM to correct the problem.
