Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

It sounds like a case for Informix support... an urgent one.
Chucho!

Subject: sysmaster database
I have been researching some problems we are having with software since our
upgrade from IDS 7.31 on AIX 4.3 to IDS 9.40 on AIX 5.2 (64-bit).
We are currently running.
IBM Informix Dynamic Server Version 9.40.FC4W1 on AIX 5.2 with the 64bit
kernel installed.
I have noticed that the a couple of the sysmaster tables are not getting
updated correctly (maybe by design but I don't think so).
Some examples that I have noticed.
1. sysconblock only sporadically get rows it should.
2. onstat -g sql command most of the time has last parsed SQL blank when it
should not be.
3. syssqexplain is often missing entries.
Can someone explain this to me or is anyone else having this problem?
