Hi Gurus, I'm having a hard time configuring my TERMCAP and TERM type; Function keys, Backspace, Num-lock keys, Screens (graphics) and etc. are not working properly. Is there anyone here who can help me with this ? or if you have this TERMCAP would you mind lending it to me. Regards, Jojo

You should better use TERMINFO, it's easyer and more standard and efficient. But INFORMIX doesn't allow TERMINFO for all the systems (it's a BIG shame). I have this trouble on AIX 4.3.1 and I don't know about LINUX. > > Regards, > > Jojo >

I think yhe obvious solution to the is to use the TERMCAP file in $INFORMIXDIR/etc then by using infocmp -C you can apppend approriate termcap entries for your system to it easily. It least that's what I did. TTFN -- Roger
