9.40uc3 NVL problem

Hi, everybody, I've just encountered an interesting problem with 9.40uc3 (Linux) This is a small regression code to reproduce the problem: ---------------------------- create table my_test ( id serial, num integer); insert into my_test values(1,1); insert into my_test values(2,2); select NVL( (select min(t1.id) from my_test t1 where num>4 ), (select max(t2.id) from my_test t2) ) from 'informix'.systables; -- <<<< this works fine insert into my_test values(3000000,3); select NVL( (select min(t1.id) from my_test t1 where num>4 ), (select max(t2.id) from my_test t2) ) from 'informix'.systables; -- <<<< this gives an ERROR -1207 ---------------------- -1207 Converted value does not fit into the allotted space.
