Probably with Microsoft or Oracle...

I am doing serious devlopment but why should I not get to play with
the newest toys, find out what they can do before I commit a project
to using it and then find it can't do what I need, or rather can
but with a few months to delivery it will take too long to figure out
how to get it to do what I want it to do.
My last company had a project almost fail and almost got sued because
we using VB on a 5 month project (20 weeks) and hiut limitations 4
weeks before delivery...4 weeks is not enough time to be able to get
help and talk to people who have more experience (there weren't any)
because VB was so new).
Why should I take a massive loss on my first project because I could
not get a free copy to play with and learn on before I commit to using
it....
