1. Dont. (consolidate in place)
2. dbexport, reinitialise the instance, dbimport.
3. consolidate the table(s) into a new dbspace or chunk.

Subject: sysdistrib table all fragmented
One our databases has a sysdistrib table that has a few extents grabbed.
The problem is that they are blocking other "normal" tables from
consolidating.
How can I get sysdistrib to reconsolidate? Any of the sys tables for
that matter? I get a "511 cannot alter system catalog.
Thanks,
Brian.

Why don't consolidate in place? Exactly what database operations do you
have in mind when not recommending consolidating in place? "ALTER
FRAGMENT ON TABLE <table> INIT IN <dbspace or fragment expression>"
or "ALTER INDEX <index> TO CLUSTER"?

Drop the exported database?
