I was wondering if a more effective ploy against recruiters would be to simply reveal the possible company that they are recruiting for. It would only take a few guesses. If they want a pharmaceutical company in Indianapolis, then they are probably talking about Eli Lilly and Co. That information might deflate a few recruiters. Plus people could talk to the companies themselves and eliminate the recruiters' fees. Just a thought. Of course, that would do nothing about principals posting for job ads, but it might be a start. It could hardly be illegal. ...Don --IMA.Boundary.039618048 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII; name="RFC822 message headers" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Description: cc:Mail note part >Received: from ns.crc.state.in.us by ima.isd.state.in.us with SMTP > (IMA Internet Exchange 1.04b beta) id 21cd1490; Thu, 22 Aug 96 16:29:45 -0500 >Received: from rmy.rmy.emory.edu ([170.140.97.4]) by mailgate.isd.state.in.us wit >h SMTP id <53782>; Thu, 22 Aug 1996 16:20:01 -0500 >Received: (from ilist@localhost) by rmy.rmy.emory.edu (8.7.1/8.7.1) id RAA18985 f >or donald_boothby_at_isdlan@ima.isd.state.in.us; Thu, 22 Aug 1996 17:23:59 -0400 >(EDT) >From: Mike Segel <mikey@segel.com> >Message-Id: <321BB2BC.5B9B@segel.com> >Subject: Re: Recruiters tired me: How about comp.databases.informix.jobs? >Date:Wed, 21 Aug 1996 20:07:08 -0500 >Reply-To: Mike Segel <mikey@segel.com> >Organization: Home for Retired Caffiene Junkie Programmers ;-) >Sender: informix-list-owner@rmy.emory.edu >To: informix-list@rmy.emory.edu >X-Informix-List-To: donald_boothby_at_isdlan@ima.isd.state.in.us >X-Informix-List-Id: <news.27359> --IMA.Boundary.039618048--
