Maximum number of chunks in 9.40, 2047 or 32766?

Hello everyone, 1) Version 9.40 still limits to 2047 chunks (onstat -d shows this figure), that is true, my test has confirmed that. 2) When issue onmode -BC 1/or 2 -- onstat -d shows 32766; however, my test of adding chunks always fail when the number of "active" from onstat -d is greater than 2045. The conclusion from my experiment (for my Informix version 9.40FC5X3 on HP-Ux 11.11) is that I can never have more than 2045 chunks or dbspaces in an instance regardless Informix onstat -d says 32766. Is it a bug? or what am I missing? Thanks in advance Kern --
