How to determine program idleness within 4gl???

Greetings All: My first question is of a technical nature. Here's the situation: We have a terminal devoted to looking up data. Users come at various times throughout the day and look up what they need to know. The catch is that the users don't always exit to the initial screen. We are looking for a way to determine if the terminal (program) has been idle for say 2 minutes and then make sure the program returns to the initial screen for the next user who comes along. Are there any Informix 4gl 4.1 solutions? We have thought about compiling in a C routine to do this but are unsure if this is possible. Any hints/solutions are greatly appreciated! (BTW, we're using the SE.) Question #2: Are there any automated testing tools for Informix 4gl?
