I just installed SE ver 7.11 and I4GL (6.0x) onto a Sparcstaion 5 clone (Integrix with the MicroSparc-II cpu) and also noticed that this SE7.11 is very much slower than the SE5.x that I was familiar with on SCO/Intel boxes. At first I thought maybe that this particular machine was the cause, but now I'm not so sure since every other kind of flat-file I/O intensive program I run on it is quite fast. Anyone else out there using 7.xx SE on a Sparc-based box seeing slow performance? -- ===================================================================== = Neal Howard neal@metronet.com '91 XLH-1200 DoD #686 AMA NRA = = "Fuzzy Wuzzy was a bear, Fuzzy Wuzzy had no hair.
