RE: INSERTing string longer the 256 bytes

Carlos, Just because *you* haven't had to do this, that doesn't mean others haven't, and it certainly doesn't mean this isn't the design failure that it is. I currently have a total kludge work-around, that works-barely, but is not satisfactory in the long term. I also don't see how the OS would effect the situation, although I guess thats why I posted the question.
