I just ran into a separate -710 instance which leads me to believe that
the OnLine engine is being very sloppy about invalidating PREPAREd SQL
statements. I had an ALTER TABLE statement fail because it could not
obtain exclusive access to the particular table, that flagged all cached
SPL procedures as invalid, despite the fact that the ALTER never occurred.
If this is occurring only for stored procedures, try executing an UPDATE
STATISTICS for the procedures in question.
