Gary L. Burnore in a fit of manic depression scrawled this on the bathroom wall with his eye liner: > On 11 Jan 1998 10:03:04 -0500, in article <69amv8$qjf@cssun.mathcs.emory.edu>, > billy@west.co.za wrote: > > :Gary, you *really* need to move to decaf!! I mean, here I am, spending my weekend dumpster surfing in Menlo Park and I come back here to this? (Hey, who says blackmail doesn't work! ;-) C'Mon. Your supposed to be a net detective. If you are gonna see spam or a spammer around every corner, at least check out the participants. And when you do, feel free to contact me directly. Posting it here would be off topic, and this thread is getting out of hand. Although if you really want to know more about Informix on Linux, subscribe to the IIUG's advocacy lists. Its a riot! (Well, now that Billy's back home in SA, we can cause a riot about New Era or the Spice Girls. ;-) Gary, you can choose not to participate in this survey. Its purely voluntary. However, when it comes time to port products, your voice won't be heard. The survey requests a valid e-mail address for auditing purposes. (That way no one can accuse the survey of twising facts.) I spoke with the webmaster of that site. Datad.com. He is sharing the data with me so that we can present it to Informix. (That is, if they would return my calls or e-mails) [That's why I know Billy filled one out! :-] Of course, I guess with this data we could go to Roger now at Borland, or even to Larry over at Oracle. (GASP! I said the O word.) Well, I've think I've said enough. I don't want to get into a pissing match and like Billy said, you can always contact me or Tim. That's Segel (Dot) Com , Mikey (At) [ You know what I mean.] -Mike Segel (Yet Another Jelly Doughnut Eating Net Cop.) BTW, Any rumors about me trying to find blackmail information on Mike Saranga to do the Linux port is a complete fabrication. I also deny being anywhere near Menlo Park this last weekend. Dumpster Diving? Moi? I'm not even PADI certified!
