We are professional but not academic editors or writers. A lot of people answer questions based on their valuable experiences and what "comes into their mind". Some even gave more detailed information like manual instructions and other references. I don't see anything wrong with this. Sometimes confusion is caused by unclear questions. People asking question don't know what they want to do or didn't make their questions clear enough. In this case you can't expect to get good answer. We should not blame people offering answers because they spend their time thinking about your question or doing some research about it. Let more people participate and make the list more active instead of pointing finger. Weimin Yang Aerotek Inc.
