Help on compiling ESQL on unix (fwd)
Posted in 1992
Potluri Dora, You should find the executable esql in $INFORMIXDIR/bin if you have the Informix-ESQL/C product installed. You would also have the file ESQL-cr and esqlfiles in the $INFORMIXDIR/etc directory. The esqlfiles lists all the directories and files that the ESQL/C product has while the ESQL-cr file shows what version of the product is installed. If you don't have these, you'll have to buy the product.
