Hi, You can download the manuals at http://www.informix.com/answers Now you gave more info so I can try answer Your question :-) Try using in ILogin the service number (1530) instead of service name on your client. The mapping between service name and service number (/etc/services) on windows is in diferent places depending on windows version. On Windows 95 it is in WINDOWSDIR\\system32\\devices\\etc (I think so, I don't remember, but you can try finding the services file :-) The important thing is you have to put this mapping on the client computer too (or just use the port number).
