Anyone else played around with this yet? Andrew
Hi Andrew. There is a new twitter account named IIUG World 2018. Check it out. There are some on premises to cloud testing there. HTH Best regards.
I know the guy behind that account ;) I think the AWS offering is pretty interesting, a lot of barriers to entry such as cost (I've been messing around with an instance that costs $0.10/hour that I can shutdown when not using) and engine install/initialization are removed. Has anyone tried Informix as a seamless replacement for MongoDB? A lot of things out there like Meteor that rely on Mongo. Getting the CSDK is proving to be somewhat of an issue, you have to use the Contact Us form on HCL's site and request it manually. Why not just include it in the AWS machine image?
