I'm confused on the --versionCol=<field/column> switch for this command. That must be an existing field in the table, right? What data type is it supposed to be? It's just some housekeeping field used by ER, right, and not some actual column/field that is part of the table. Thanks, Andrew

I just specified a non existent column of "version" and it didn't complain and allowed me to create my sharded table. Not sure what consequences this has.
