RE: Sizing existing indexes - How to do?

I think you missed the original poster's question, which I believe is: Is
there any way to specify extent sizes for the indices of a table, separate
from the data/table? Answer No.
This has been a feature request of mine, for over a year and half. This
becomes even more important, and necessary, now that you have the ability
to fragment tables, indices, and create indices detached. Since the indices
are treated essentially as tables (as far as storage with DSA), why can't
we control the extent sizing??

Hmmm. Grab those manuals again and lookup oncheck -pT. That will
list all the space usage for data and index pages for a tablespace.
