Other than the checkpoint duration increasing, do you have a problem you are
trying to solve?
How frequently do you run the recommended Update Statistics?
How many processors does the SUN have and what else is running on this
server?
You have MULTIPROCESSOR set to 1 but NUMCPUVPS=1 ??
Why do you have NOAGE 1?
How busy do your disks get at Checkpoint time? If they are busy then reduce
LRU_MAX_DIRTY to 2 and MIN to 1. Or even 1 and 0.
