ODBC does't display any data

Problem description Server side: Informix online (SCO Open Server) Client side: Access 2000 and Informix ODBC drivers (3.30 32 bit) Behavior: I linked a few tables using Access 2000 and ODBC. When I try to open the tables in datasheet mode, nothing happens: there are no data displayed and no error messages. However, if I use a query with an "Order by" clause, the data are displayed correctly. Without the "order by", same strange behavior: no data are shown. I enabled the ODBC trace functionality, and it seems that no requests are sent through ODBC when there are no data displayed (the log file is empty). This should mean that the problem is on the client side. Is there anybody who had the same problem (or a solution, if this is not asking too much) ? Andrea Vincenzi
You may need an update to the Microsoft Data Access Components. Some versions had a bug when used with Access 2000 causing behavior similar to what you are describing. You can get the latest MDAC from MS's web site.
