SJE2967 found that the today function on SCO Xenix with Informix 4.2 SQL/4GL and SE returned one day ahead. Michael Krzepkowski asked about Y2K patches and recompiling. Watawinona said versions 4.x and 6.x were obsolete. Jonathan Leffler and Peter said the off-by-one pointed to a non-Y2K-compliant version that mishandled 29 February 2000 as a leap year. No fix was confirmed.

Hi!
Have you installed all required patches on Xenix and recompiled the
application (Y2K stuff....)?

SCO Xenix? Are you sure it is ISQL 4.20 and I4GL 4.20? I'm not!
I don't know when SCO Xenix was dropped from Informix's porting list,
but I'd be surprised if it was less than 5 years ago.
Which version of SE are you using?
Unless you are using 4.20 ISQL and I4GL and 5.10 SE, you are now
finding out why Informix made the old versions obsolete before the
start of this year -- they do not handle 2000 as a leap year. The
off-by-one makes me strongly suspect that you are using a
Y2K-noncompliant version of SE at least, and I'm dubious about your
I4GL and ISQL too.
Someone else asked whether you have all the SCO Xenix Y2K patches;
I'll merely reiterate the question, but I'll add that I don't think
that is actually a factor in your problem.

This is the problem of the 29th Feb of this year!
Your Infx is not full y2k ready. Try a day before 29.2.2000.
Cheers
