I'd like to get the value assigned to a serial column when using insert with the Informix ODBC Driver. There is a macro named SQL_GET_SERIAL_VALUE in */incl/cli/infxcli.h. Is anyone familiar with how to use this setting for efficient retrieval of the SERIAL value?? Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.
Try SELECT DBINFO( 'sqlca.sqlerrd2' ) FROM systables WHERE tabid = 1; immeditely after INSERT. Above SQL will return last serial value inserted.
