Just to verify...
I add a new chunk to a BLOB space but the new space didn't appear
present to applications, although it was visible on the onstat -d
command output.
When I restarted the engine, the BLOB was plenty available to
applications.
Somebody tell me it was necessary to inform to the engine about the
inclusion of the new chunk with an onmode -something command. I search
the manuals and didn't read anything about that. Did I miss something?
Thanks in advance.

"onmode -l", followed by "onmode -c" should do the trick for you.
