I have created a stored procedure(function) which is a series of select
statements into temp tables with the last select into a permanent table. The
procedure is located in a user db. I have scheduled this procedure using the
OpenAdmin Tool via the Task Scheduler activity. Receiving Error -556 Cannot
create, drop, or modify an object that is external to current database. I've
traced the error to the creation of the temp tables. Is there anyway around
this error?
Thanks
John

Yes, in the ph_task table record for the task set the tk_dbs column to the
database in which the task should run.
